Summary

Public Engagement represents an innovative culture and approach that shapes and inspires the actions of universities and research institutions. It translates into strategies and activities aimed at involving all parts of society in dynamic interactions and active participation. This involvement is based on an open, multi-directional dialogue to value the knowledge of every participant and expand the social impact of these actions, while promoting understanding, collaboration, and the co-creation of shared value. Starting from the evolution of this approach, we will share how it is currently changing the strategies and organisational models of research institutions.
