Who will speak:

Emma Lazzeri (moderator): works for GARR on the definition of strategies, tools, and training and information on topics related to open science. Emma coordinates the ICDI (Italian Computing and Data Infrastructure) Task Force for the National Competence Center for Open Science, FAIR, and EOSC. Emma also coordinates the Skills4EOSC project co-financed by the European Union in Horizon Europe.

Alessandro Rizzo (IRD): holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" (Italy) and a Ph.D. in International Cooperation for Sustainable Development. He is a researcher at IRD, the French Institute of Research for Sustainable Development, with expertise in open science as an enabling factor to accelerate sustainability and adaptation to climate change, especially in developing countries. In recent years, within the French research infrastructure dedicated to the Earth System and the environment, DATA-TERRA, he has been involved in projects related to EOSC, and is currently the coordinator of the FAIR-EASE project.

Maria Luisa Chiusano< (Federico II University of Naples): Professor of Molecular Biology at the Department of Agriculture of Federico II University and the Zoological Station of Naples. Prof. Chiusano is an associate professor of Molecular Biology. An expert in "omics" sciences and bioinformatics, she has always been involved in training and research in the field. She has designed and developed numerous databases and computational platforms for the analysis of biological data, also within international consortia. Responsible for Italian and European scientific projects, author of numerous scientific publications, she is an invited speaker at national and international conferences.

The webinar is aimed at the Italian community and is intended for researchers, research support staff, technicians, and technologists interested in learning about topics related to open science and FAIR principles.
