How can Open Science make research more useful for society? What tools and approaches can help transform scientific results into actionable resources for policy-making?

These are the key questions behind the webinar "Science4Policy: How research data can inform public policies", organised by the ICDI Competence Centre in collaboration with the Skills4EOSC project.

The ICDI Competence Centre is part of the Competence Centre network established by Skills4EOSC, a project coordinated by GARR that is building a pan-European network of centres to foster essential skills in Open Science and FAIR data management.

This event is targeted at the Italian research community and will be held in Italian. It is aimed at researchers and professionals interested in exploring how Open Science principles open up new opportunities to make scientific research more impactful in policy-making processes.

Through real-world examples, interactive discussions, and contributions from domain experts, the webinar will offer practical insights, tools, and best practices to help bridge the gap between research and public policy—emphasising data reuse and the dialogue between scientists and decision-makers.
